WR quattro 10 Valve Turbo 1982

ALPINE WHITE - This car is in very good condition for its year I have owned this vehicle since 2000 and it has been maintained to the highest standard possible.I have documented history (if very sketchy in places) since 17/12/87 until I purchased the car in 2000; from then on I have bills for every penny that I have spent. Including a new cylinder head and hybrid turbo charger.

This car has quite a chequered history. It was originally LHD with a KMH Speedo but was converted to RHD soon after import into the country around late 1981 early 1982. It was also originally bright yellow but is now white I do not know when the colour change occurred. It has a documented mileage of 75.663.

There are three minor faults on this otherwise very clean car. Two very minor rust marks, one on the n/s/r wheel arch and one just below the driver’s door. When I took the car for its M.O.T. I found that the Air Con pump has seized probably due to the fact that it has been garaged since March last year.  To quote this month’s Retro Car Magazine it is one of only 17 four headlamp Quattro’s registered in the U.K. It has M.O.T. till Jan 06 but no Tax. 1983 quattro 10 Valve. Amazon Blue metallic with the correct green and brown check interior. This car was the subject of a substantial restoration in 1997 after 125,000 miles. Photographic and documentary evidence detail the work completed. The car has been treasured and used vey sparingly since and now shows 134,000 miles. The body benefited from a complete glass out re-spray. The front and rear suspension was rebiult with new springs, shocks, bushes, ball joints, tie rods etc. The brake system was overhauled with new front callipers, hoses etc. The car wears the only set of 7" ronals I have ever seen which are unmarked with good tyres all round. The exhaust is an original stock Audi system. The current owner rarely gets to enjoy her as he is based permanently overseas.
