Castle Combe
In total we had 15 cars, some coming from quite a distance. A good selection of colours which it is always good to see, particularly the unusual blue metallic examples. During the whole day members exchanged notes and information about their car. It is amazing how much you can learn from member’s experiences!
Audi UK was also present with their Tornado Red RR 20v (apparently with less than 100 miles on the clock), blue RS2 and Ro 80 (still looks good today and well ahead of its time). Audi UK also brought their latest offerings in the shape of RS5, RS3 saloon, TT RS not forgetting the R8. They also brought an R8 for track rides. Loads of activity on track with quite a large variety of interesting machinery. Loved the sound of the RS4/R8, the Audi V8 is something else, impossible to resist, pure addiction.
At the end of the day, we all helped to fold down the gazebo and would you believe, it fits in the boot of the Ur never thought it was possible.
We all had a great day and the weather was also good. After the event we had an excellent feedback from the membership, how much they enjoyed it. Roll on 2018.
