Ace Cafe Meet 11/06/17
 The 2017 ACE Cafe meeting was the sixth year of doing this event for the qOC. It has become established as one of the few Ur meets in London. In all we had 15 cars on display ranging from a Y plate 1982 through to a J plate 1991 RR. As always, we got a lot of attention particularly from the biker boys. All in all it was a great day with lots of like-minded people, talking about their cars and getting some good Ur information and advice.

Stilton Run 23/04/17
 Sunday 23rd saw the Annual Stilton Cheese run take place. This event has proved a highlight for Area K members and our organiser, Simon Wilson, made strong efforts to bring attention of the event to the whole club rather than just Area K. The Cheese Run is organised to coincide with the Federation of British Historic Vehicle Club’s annual ‘Drive it Day’ where owners of classic vehicles are encouraged to take to the road. With all marques and vintages represented the run raises money for the local Air Ambulance.

Scottish Tour Oct 2016
 The Macdonald Drumossie Hotel in Inverness was our base for 3 nights. The car park in front of the hotel was full of quattros: 28 cars of which 18 were Urs plus A4 quattro Avant, A6 quattro Avant, Coupe quattro, RS4 Avant, RS6, S3 Sportback, S6, SQ5, TT 225 quattro and a new R8 Spyder from Audi UK. We also had an early 4 headlamp Diamond Silver Ur for display next to the front entrance of the hotel.

Audi Driver International 15/10/16
 The club area at Castle Combe attracted a good turnout of 8 Urs, on what turned out to be a bright sunny day, with 2 members showing their Ur on the concours area. We also had a Rally A1 replica car taking advantage of some practice on the track throughout the day. Castle Combe is always a good day out and everybody enjoyed the relaxed friendly atmosphere and meeting up with other members.

Rallyday 24/09/16
 The Club organised for the membership 10 tickets and car passes at no cost to members. The stand was full, in fact not enough space for all our cars. We had a nice variety of colours and a mixture of WR/MB/RR including some rally painted replicas.

 The highlight of the weekend was Hans Stuck junior taking a replica of his father’s 1936 Auto Union V16 supercharged car up the hill at a blistering pace, as it was 80 years ago his father broke the record.

The London Show - 2016
 As you may know, the London Show took place over 3 days at the ExCel Exhibition Centre near City Airport in London. Steve Hagger, our L1/2 Region representative, suggested that it would be a good idea for the qOC to be present at the Show. With only a few days to go, it was quickly decided that we would take a stand. There was very little time to organise the stand and get the correct cars, we needed five at short notice. Between the paper work, the logistics and the cars, there was quite a lot to do for this event. We must thank all the volunteers for their work and contribution. Also Andy, Steve and Roger for manning the stand for 3 days.

 A little about me .. My interest in audiquattro started immediately when it debuted in 1980!  I was a frequent spectator at the Swedish Rally where I got to see and hear quattros thundering up in the woods.
